Chief Of Staff John Kelly Wants To Fire Omarosa From The White House

John Kelly wants to bring order to the White House.

Among the Conways and the Mooches and the Spicers, it’s easy to forget that a contestant from the first season of Celebrity Apprentice has been walking the halls of the executive branch. But no-nonsense Chief of Staff John Kelly, who may be the only disciplined person cashing checks in the President’s employ, doesn’t like Omarosa’s habit of “triggering” the President with critical news stories.

Yes, a reality star is goading a reality star President, who gets grumpy, loses track of his responsibilities, and rails at people on Twitter. Kelly has no use for “people like Omarosa” who walk into the Oval Office and wind up the chief executive.

Kelly has established a system that limits access to the President:

Kelly has been trying to limit distracting news that crosses the President’s desk:

Whether or not limiting Trump’s infotainment diet and paring down his friends list will result in more efficient governing is yet to be seen.

America voted a reality TV show into the Oval Office, and that’s what we’ve gotten so far.

Eric Trump Tried To Mock CNN, But They Had The Receipts

The feud between the Trump family and CNN isn’t exactly new.

When President Trump isn’t tweeting #fakenews at CNN, he’s reposting shady GIFs and degrading images:

So when President Trump pledged $ 1 million to the Hurricane Harvey relief fund, I guess it was inevitable that Eric Trump, now executive VP of The Trump Organization, would take to social media to go after the network.

Eric Trump taunted CNN on Twitter:

The news outlet fired back at Eric Trump, with receipts and time stamps of how they had already reported Trump’s pledge.

And his tweet backfired… hard:

No one knows the Trump family’s real reason was for tweeting CNN, but we know that Hurricane Harvey is nothing to joke about.

Denny's Roasted People Who Don't Tip On Twitter And The Backlash Was Swift

Although Wendy’s is pretty much the master of savage restaurant Twitter accounts, Denny’s has a pretty strong social media game, too.

Whoever’s in charge of their social media has been a roll recently. But as with all winning streaks, there comes a time when it comes to an end. And for Denny’s, the end came in the form of a brutal, should’ve-seen-that-coming response to a tweet.

It all started with this pretty awesome joke Denny’s made about people who don’t tip their waitstaff.

However, Twitter had some thoughts about tipping culture that they wanted to share. And they didn’t hold back.

Depending on what state you’re in, labor laws for tipped individuals set minimum wages as low as $ 2.13, although there are some states that give higher hourly minimums than others. California, for example, starts waiters and waitresses off with $ 10 an hour, in addition to gratuities.

But depending on the restaurant you work at, you might make very little off of tips.

So people kept the memes coming to remind the restaurant chain that those who dwell in glass American diners shouldn’t throw stones.

It started a conversation on the state of compensation in the US food service industry, too.

In any event, it’s hard to believe they didn’t at least consider people would throw shade at this tweet.

How To Have The Ultimate Labor Day Staycation

Everyone likes going to the beach or flying out of town for Labor Day weekend—but if you forgot to make plans good luck getting a ticket out of town at this point. Luckily, there’s plenty of ways to have a relaxing long weekend without ever leaving your town. And the best part is, you don’t even need to put on a swimsuit (though, I mean, you can, if you want. I’m not going to stop you).

Here are some of the best ideas for throwing your own staycation this weekend.

Work through your to-be-read pile.

On a normal Monday, you don’t have time to spend hours lying in bed or in your backyard with a book. But for your staycation, it’s a must.

Have a picnic in your nearest park.

After all, who knows when the next warm day is going to be?

Take a break from social media.

Or put your phone on airplane mode so you can access your camera, but not the internet.

Buy some flowers.

Making your home look and smell nice will make it a bit less depressing to go home to.

Have a spa day.

Whether that means actually spending money at a day spa or giving yourself a facial.

Try a new restaurant.

You know that place you’ve been meaning to go to? Don’t heat up a microwavable meal this weekend—just go!

Sleep in!

There’s no more important tip than just letting yourself really relax this weekend.

Kim Kardashian Just Completely Destroyed Donald Trump

Although Kim K. hasn’t really been outspoken about Trump’s presidency thus far, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t hold some strong opinions on the man. I mean, the Kardashian name isn’t exactly synonymous with incisive political commentary

Ouch. That wasn’t all though.

Kardashian also talked about the escalation of violence as a defining characteristic of Trump’s current term:

Kim also commented on how seriously she takes commenting on political issues and explains why she doesn’t do it often.

When asked if she follows Trump on Twitter, Kim simply responded that she does not, but added, “I follow Obama though.”
