Judge Orders Man To Write 144 Nice Things About His Ex-Girlfriend

Maui Second Circuit Judge Rhonda Loo has ordered 30-year-old Daren Young to write 144 nice things about his ex-girlfriend after he violated her protection order.

The woman sought a protection order after the two separated, which was issued Feb. 22, but two months later, Young called and texted her 144 times within a three-hour period, police said

Young was accused of saying “nasty things” in calls and text messages to the woman. Now, he has to write one “nice thing” for every “nasty thing.”

On top of that, Young was also sentenced to two years’ probation, 200 hours of community service, and a $ 2,400 fine. Prior to sentencing, Young had served 157 days in jail.

Social media had mixed feelings about the decision.

What do you think of this punishment?

Airline In Finland Will Start Weighing Passengers Before They Can Board

Finnair plans to start weighing passengers before they board their flight in an effort to work out just how much extra weight their planes are carrying. It’s no secret that waistlines across the industrialized world are expanding, the average American man weighs 15 pounds more now than he did 20 years ago.

This rapid rise presents a problem for Finnair, who are currently balancing their planes based on estimates from the European Aviation Safety Agency, which were made eight years ago, according to The Sun.

According to the old estimates, the average male passengers weighs 185 pounds, while the average female weighs 144 pounds. However, the average Finnish man is 2 pounds heavier than that estimate, and the average Finnish woman is 11 pounds heavier.

The airline wants to stick between 100 and 150 of its passengers on the scales before every flight to get a better idea of how much the average customer weighs.

They’re not planning on penalizing anyone they consider overweight, though. However, the program could cut operating costs by giving them more exact estimates on just how much fuel every flight needs.

Sami Suokas, manager of customer processes at Finnair, said:

Suokas revealed that they’re starting now because passengers tend to fluctuate in weight between summer and winter.

This isn’t the first time an airline has weighed passengers. Hawaiian Airlines weighed passengers for six months in 2016 on their route between Honolulu and the American Samoa.

Samoans have one of the highest rates of obesity in the world, and the airline won the right to put passengers on the scales to save fuel and prevent accidents despite numerous complaints to courts from passengers.

Hawaiian Airlines have since completed their study.

This Guy Planted Fake Halloween Costumes In Stores And They're Hilarious

The comedian was back at it again this past Halloween with some funny costume ideas that he left in stores to prank shoppers who were none the wiser.

Some of them take jabs at ridiculous news trends, like Millennials being responsible for the death of certain industries.

Others were just straight-up ridiculous. Haven’t you ever wanted to go trick-or-treating as a pair of jean shorts?

Along with non-descript, clearly plagiarized character costumes doing their best to avoid copyright issues.

There’s also the oh-so-wrong Absent Father.

And the inexplicable: Milkshake Duck.

What ducks have to do with milkshakes, I have no idea.

This Famous Haunted School In Ireland Just Got Even More Nightmare Inducing

Well it looks like they’ve got even more footage of the ghost at work, and although the entire thing can certainly be fabricated, if the footage is true, then we’ve got some evidence of paranormal activity going on. If it’s true, of course.

Check out the latest videos to see what I mean.

First up, is this uncanny shake.

Then, if you check out the top left corner (where the timestamp info is), you’ll see a chair or other piece of furniture move through the hallway.

Then it moves, again, just way, way faster.

Oh and this next one’s no big deal, a backpack just falls right off the top of the locker and onto the ground. Nothing to see here.

And then a poster gets torn off the wall.

Then, there are even more moving chairs.

Look, I’ve got a message for everyone at Deerpark C.B.S., I know it might seem like a good idea to go to that school Halloween dance, but if my knowledge of horror films are any indication, ya’ll are gonna want to get the heck out of there like immediately.

You can check out the whole video, which the school kindly uploaded online.

Before you get to thinking that there’s no way in heck this video could be faked, just know that there are several YouTube videos that convincingly debunk common ghost video hoax methods. The fact that Deerpark is doing this and sharing all the evidence with the rest of the world, instead of calling for a shaman or priest, or buying another building entirely, makes me think the whole thing’s a prank.

But it’s still kinda cool to believe.
