Folks Are Sharing Pictures Of Their Dogs Looking Like Humans And It's Uncanny

It’s a bit of common wisdom that folks look like their pets—either because they choose animals who remind them of someone they love (themselves) or because they transform over the years of feeding, petting, and feces disposal.

A man named Liam Rice has his own explanation for this phenomenon. Rice is an extremely handsome animal care officer at the MSCPA who owns a husky named Luna. He posted an impromptu photo shoot with her and suggested their uncanny resemblance to one another is because Luna carries the spirit of a human within:

I don’t think so, but lots of people responded with their own puppers living like people and looking like people. Any thread full of cute dogs is fine with me, so let’s agree to disagree and check them out:

A cat also made it in, which I find relatable:

But people think Liam looks familiar. They also think he looks a whole lot like a cartoon character:

So, Archer Sterling looks like a husky, too? Yep, sounds right.

Liam is a babe!

But he appears to be taken, sorry everyone.

Well, we still have dogs to enjoy. Love can wait.

Woman Complains That She's Allergic To Dogs On Flight, Gets Removed From Plane

Well Southwest airlines recently removed a passenger from its plane, but for an entirely different reason: because she said she was deathly allergic to dogs.

The trouble is, she allegedly didn’t have an allergy card to prove her claim. After speaking with law enforcement officers and refusing to leave the airline, she was forcefully removed.

CBS reported that the man who recorded the scuffle, Bill Dumas, said the officers “spent a long time talking to the woman” before finally removing her from the flight.

For the most part, people on Twitter are siding with the airline and/or the two dogs, one of which was a service animal, as the woman had allegedly complained about them and wanted them off the flight before she was eventually taken off the plane.

Others couldn’t believe that the folks at Southwest “picked” dogs over human beings.

Others don’t know why she resisted in the first place.

While others suggested that this was probably the best case scenario for the removed passenger.

Southwest released the following statement, explaining, “We are disheartened by the way this situation unfolded and the Customer’s removal by local law enforcement officers. We publicly offer our apologies to this Customer for her experience and we will be contacting her directly to address her concerns.”

What do you think? Was it excessive to take her off the plane?

It's Finally Spring And These Dogs Just Can't Deal With Being In The Park Right Now

My dog hates the dog park. I’ve taken her there many times and as soon as she realizes that’s where we are heading, she starts to pull away in the opposite direction. I don’t really get it. It seems to have everything she likes. Open space to run around and things to smell.

I suppose every dog there is bigger than her by a significant margin and I wouldn’t want to play where giants roam. That part makes sense to me. Even so, I wouldn’t take her someplace where she’d get hurt. She knows that, right?

Sorry, guys. My dog and I are going through a thing right now. I didn’t mean to drop that on you. Forget I said anything. Just enjoy these other dogs enjoying the park.
