Hillary Clinton Read 'Fire And Fury' At The Grammys And People Have Mixed Feelings

Last night, James Corden hosted the Grammys, with Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar stealing the show, and most of the awards. As part of the show, Corden had celebrities including Cardi B, John Legend, DJ Khaled, Cher, and Snoop Dogg read extracts from Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury

Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House includes interviews with several people close to President Donald Trump, including former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and Sam Nunberg, a former campaign aide.

Wolff claims that Bannon as calling Donald Trump Jr. “treasonous” and “unpatriotic” for attending a meeting with a Russian lawyer during the campaign. The book also claims that Trump “assured” his wife Melania that he would not win the 2016 election, and that Melaniawas in tears when he did.

You should probably stick around until the end of the video, though. There’s a special guest amongst the celebrities.

You can probably guess how those close to Donald Trump reacted to the segment…

Others seemed to enjoy the skit.

While some didn’t seem to like the skit at all.

Video Of Hillary Clinton Accurately Warning America About Trump And White Supremacy Re-Emerges Online

As the nation grows ever more divided, with President Trump emboldening hate groups by not expressly condemning them after the deadly protest in Charlottesville, a voice of reason has emerged.

Unfortunately for us, however, that voice is from a year ago, when Hillary Clinton attempted to warn voters of the dangers of electing Donald Trump.

In a video that has reemerged and gone viral, Clinton explains exactly the circumstances we find ourselves in at the moment:

Sean Spicer Just Tried To Blame Hillary Clinton For A Trump Problem, And Nobody's Having It

Sean Spicer Just Tried To Blame Hillary Clinton For A Trump Problem, And Nobody’s Having It

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is one of the special treasures to come out of President Donald’s Presidency. It’s not his lies or his hysterical method of delivering half-truths. It’s Spicer’s conviction, his belief that what he’s reporting is factual and everyone is wrong if you think he’s wrong.

Spicey’s most recent farce was, surprisingly, not him hiding in the bushes to avoid questions, but rather misspeaking about former acting Attorney General Sally Yates. When asked about Yates’ political ties and preferences during President Donald’s presidency and why she was fired, he said:

[She is] someone who is not exactly a supporter of the president’s agenda. Who, a couple days after this first conversation took place, refused to uphold a lawful order of the president. Who is not exactly someone that was excited about President Trump taking office or his agenda… We did what we were supposed to do. The president made, ultimately, the right decision… [She was] appointed by the Obama administration and a strong supporter of Clinton.

“[She was] appointed by the Obama administration and a strong supporter of Clinton.”

This definitely got Twitter talking.

While President Obama did appoint Yates to Deputy Attorney General in 2015, before she was a U.S. Attorney General for Georgia, appointed by George W. Bush. Even before that, she had a career with the Justice Department stretching back years.

Of course, Spicer didn’t stop there in his claims about Yates’ loyalties.

And if that wasn’t enough, Spicer repeated previous statements that Sally Yates simply gave the White House a “heads up” in regards to former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s ties to Russia.

What a treasure.

This Photo Of Hillary Banning 'Make Ejaculation' Surrounded By Woman Makes A Powerful Point

One of the first executive orders that Donald Trump signed in his first few days as President was a bill that would remove federal funding from organizations abroad if they not only performed abortions or even talked to expecting mothers about it.

Many people noticed that there was a startling omission from Trump’s photo-op with the bill that would have life-changing impacts on women all over the world: there wasn’t a single woman in the photo.

The absurdity of the photo was lost on no one.

So French Feminist group 52 (because France’s population is 52% female) made a parody news article with an altered photo.

The headline reads: “Breaking news: it is now forbidden to ejaculate outside of procreation in the United States.”

A member of 52 spoke with BuzzFeed regarding the widely-shared image.

“It’s a joke….to ridicule something that boggles the mind: For centuries, it’s been men who dictate women’s bodies. Women are told what they should wear, what salary they’re entitled to… Trump has only just become president, and the first thing he does is take a step backward by signing this piece of legislation. This picture of the president shows very well how men get to dictate the rights women have…It really wound us up…On social media, some people pointed out the fact that one would ever see a photograph depicting a group composed exclusively of women signing legislature over what men are allowed to do with their genitalia. That was our starting point. We thought, Hey, why don’t we make such a picture?”

In case you were wondering, the original photo was taken when Barack Obama awarded the Congressional Medal to WASPs, a group of female WW2 fighter Pilots.

52 was last seen protesting the yearly winter fashion sales in France, and they made a pretty awesome video about it.

Even their protest videos are art-house.

Mother Who Posed With Hillary Clinton While Hiking Is Now Getting Death Threats

There are two things people take seriously in this world: fantasy football and politics.

And this mother who attained viral fame for happening upon Hillary Clinton while on a hike with her beautiful baby girl is now fearing for her life.

Margot Gerster was just minding her own business when she bumped into Hillary and Bill walking their dogs. So she grabbed a photo, as one naturally does when running into famous people.

But since posting the photograph online, Hillary’s staunchest opponents thought that because she posed with the Secretary of State, she must be some kind of devil-supporting, child-eating, soul-crushing, criminal-supporting monster. And that she’s worthy of receiving death threats for her support of a Clinton presidency.

I’ve been feeling so heartbroken since yesterday’s election and decided what better way to relax than take my girls hiking. So I decided to take them to one of favorite places in Chappaqua. We were the only ones there and it was so beautiful and relaxing. As we were leaving, I heard a bit of rustling coming towards me and as I stepped into the clearing there she was, Hillary Clinton and Bill with their dogs doing exactly the same thing as I was. I got to hug her and talk to her and tell her that one of my most proudest moments as a mother was taking Phoebe with me to vote for her. She hugged me and thanked me and we exchanged some sweet pleasentries and then I let them continue their walk. Now, I’m not one for signs but I think I’ll definitely take this one. So Proud. #Iamstillwithher #lovetrumpshate #keepfighting #lightfollowsdarkness

Trump supporters are claiming the photograph was a staged one, citing the fact that Gerster’s family threw a fundraiser for Clinton years ago as proof.

In an interview with The New York Post, Gerster confirmed that she’s received death threats but doesn’t want to focus on them.

“I don’t want to discuss this anymore. This story needs to go away. It got a lot of positive feedback from a lot of people, but I don’t want this to add on to this (blowback), I don’t want to fuel the fire.”

Sad. (h/t paper mag)
