Blake Lively Deleted Her Instagram Photos Which Means We Can't See Her Mocking Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively is popular on social media, in part because of her amazing relationship with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. The two seem to have some sort of competition over who can mock the other the best online, if they’re not busy clowning Hugh Jackman.

So imagine the despair when followers saw Lively has deleted all of her Instagram posts:

And even weirder, she unfollowed Reynolds, and started following only people with the name “Emily Nelson.”

Lively’s Twitter account is hinting at the name as well, with a screenshot of someone playing Hangman. Creepy:

The women getting followed are equal parts thrilled beyond belief and weirded out:

And the people not named Emily Nelson are wondering, can they be? For the follow?

And whoever is managing this stunt is leaning into the weird factor hard:

Some people have been jumping to the worst possible conclusions immediately:

Calm down!!

It turns out Lively is promoting a new movie, Taylor Swift-style. Buzzfeedreports she’s starring in an adaptation of a book called A Simple Favor, which is about a woman whose best friend Emily Nelson suddenly disappears. That is scary, but it’s also fiction.

It just goes to show that if you wait long enough, you might get noticed by a celebrity promotion:

Or you’ll try:

Someday your name will be called!

Former 'Buffy' Star Perfectly Recreates Iconic Celeb Looks And Instagram Can't Get Enough

Tom Lenk is likely a familiar face to any fans of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. He played nerd boy Andrew on the series, a creative individual with a habit of making up stories at every opportunity. An actor doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with their character’s direction, but Lenk is clearly as dramatic in real life as he was on TV.

His Instagram account is a deluge of creativity in the form of mocking other celebrities:

It’s doubtful that Lenk considers it mocking, actually; each photo really looks like an homage to favorite looks sported by (mostly) female stars. The handmade creations assembled from what appears to be largely household goods are inspiring, hilarious and fierce as hell:

Instagram Star Caught Photoshopping Phony Pictures Of Herself In Exotic Locales

Amelia Liana is what we like to call a “social media influencer.” That means she’s internet famous, mostly for being internet famous. Her Instagram account alone has over 472,000 followers. She lists herself as a “Fashion, beauty & travel blogger” and posts glossy, brightly-colored images of herself in exotic locations.

Essentially, Amelia lives a “dream life” and posts pictures about it online.

Those glossy magazine-style photos may have been what drew her followers to her initially, but they’re also the thing that’s garnering her some unwanted attention and criticism lately.

People have decided there’s a little bit too much Photoshop happening in Amelia’s pics and they’re calling her out.

For example, this post of her at the Taj Mahal has people crying foul. We don’t know if you’ve ever actually been to the Taj Mahal, but it’sneverthis empty.

And as one commenter put it: “You can see this is photoshopped because the reflection on the water, notice how the Taj Mahal seems compressed to fit inside the pool… this is not how reflections work.”

And then there’s this pic. Look closely at the top of Amelia’s head.

We hope it’s not painful.

Amelia took to her social media to explain that sometimes she creates an image rather than actually taking it since it’s visually more appealing, but she’s always actually at the location she’s posting about.

“Inauthentic” is one way to put it.

Even news outlets have started pointing out some of the more blatant incidents of image manipulation.

People started to question her directly about her images and her image principles.

Not everyone is bothered by the image manipulation, though. Some people seem to see it as par for the course and part of selling the “fantasy life.”

Katja straight up doesn’t care if the pictures are Photoshopped.

And Sophie thinks we’d all do it if we could.

Do you think Amelia is being dishonest or just padding the truth in a harmless way? Let us know!

This Woman Is Hilariously Recreating Instagram Model Bikini Pics This Summer

Celeste Barber is a comedian who has made a name for herself simply by recreating all the famous Instagram pics that models, actresses, and musicians are always posting showing off their fabulous life and fit bods. With just a one pic, Barber deflates all their pretensions:

Though she’s been virally famous for a while, it is worth checking in with Barber on a seasonal basis. She keeps up with what’s trendy on Insta, and since right now is bathing suit season, she’s letting it all hang out. Nothing like seeing a million pool and boat posts spoofed over and over and over again to make you realize that Instagram models are kind of in a rut:

And here are a bunch of her latest non-bikini recreations, just for fun:

That’s the celebration of summer I want to see! Though did she go too far with this spoof of Beyoncé’s holy twins?

Armpit Tattoos Are The Latest Ink Trend To Flood Instagram

Thinking about getting a tattoo? Don’t just dip your toe in the water; jump in pits deep with a trendy armpit tattoo. People everywhere are inking themselves up on one of the most sensitive areas of the human body that is not NSFW. It looks pretty cool, but it does make me wonder—who gets to see these?

The pictures on Instagram under the hashtag #armpittattoo are a beautiful museum of all the secret pictures people want to carry in their pits. Though some are very intriguing, it only seems worthwhile to do if you either need to desperately hide that you have a tattoo or you have a job where people are always looking there. Maybe as a professional basketball player? But check them out for yourself and decide if you’d let someone stick a needle into your tickle zone:

The real secret here is that armpit tattoos aren’t a brand new thing. Like all trends, they’re a repeat of something an older generation already covered:

Wife And Husband's Instagram Photos Go Viral And Spark Body Image Debate

Jasmine Owens is a 25-year-old student and mother of two from Honolulu who recently took to Instagram to share a vacation photo of her and her husband. A caption alongside the photo includes an inspirational note about learning to love her body as it is, and the message is going viral.

The post received over 70,000 likes and hundreds of comments, which were largely positive. But many weren’t, and Owens shared a screenshot of one such comment that told her to, “stop your delusion, these pics are gross and has already been shared as a meme.”

She replied to the comment by saying:

“Earlier this morning I got this very negative comment! Starting this journey publicly I knew that I would get some negative comments and I TRIED to prepare myself for the day that they started. But when I saw this comment no lie it hurt! It stabbed me hard, harder then I thought it was going to!”

“So I had to take a step back and think to myself .. why would someone be so hateful of another person! Why would they say such rude things. But then I figured it out! People like this hate on others because they are not happy with themselves! This person does not know me! They don’t know that I am VERY healthy and WILL live for my kids! They don’t know that I eat healthy, hike, go to the gym all the time and can most likely out lift them any day!”

“Just because I’m a big girl doesn’t mean I’m unhealthy and promoting being unhealthy! I’m simply promoting loving yourself the way you are! Never did I say unhealthy is the way to be. So for others that want to downplay me as a person and what I am trying to accomplish, go ahead leave your negative comment! They will only be used as fuel to my fire of promoting happiness!!”

Jazzy told the BBC that she’s grown accustom to comments like the above, but that she also received thousands of messages of support.

She went on to explain that she made an Instagram page to share her battle with depression and how she learned to love her body.

Her husband, Keenan, says that he’s always been supportive of his wife sharing her fitness progress on Instagram:

Whenever you’re under the influence of alcohol or marijuana, the dumbest, most mundane things all of a sudden become magical. This is especially true of food. McDonald’s suddenly becomes palatable. Regular, broken up Lay’s Potato Chips become tiny pieces of rare filet mignon – everything just tastes so absolutely delicious.

Lady Gaga Just Posted The Saddest Instagram About Her Breakup With Taylor Kinney

To add to the depressing celebrity drama of the week, Lady Gaga proved that we’re all going to die alone— because if she can’t make love work, none of us can.

For those of you who live under a rock and proudly proclaim that you don’t follow any celebrities, Gaga and fiancé Taylor Kinney have gone their separate ways. The two met back in 2011 on the music video set of Gaga’s song “You & I” (Kinney played the love interest, obviously) and got engaged on Valentine’s Day of 2016.

The trailblazer in meat-themed fashion didn’t say much about the breakup publicly until now. Grab the tissues.

She posted this photo of the couple to Instagram with a tear jerker of a caption.

Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates.

Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break.

We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared.

Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.

Remember when they were happy??

Does true love even exist?

According to the ever-reliable rumor mill, the two broke up in early July and Gaga hasn’t been wearing her ring.

…We’ll just be here with a gallon of Ben & Jerry’s.

Demi Lovato Just Rage Quit Twitter And Instagram Because Of All The Haters

You might remember Demi Lovato for the unspeakable act of locking her sister, Poot, in a basement and keeping her out of public’s eye for years.

She’s also an incredibly talented singer, to boot, but people can’t seem to help but roast her on social media for the whole Poot fiasco, among other things.

Never one to back down from a good internet fight, Demi fought back in the best way possible: by backing down from an internet fight.

The pop singer has decided to officially call it quits on Instagram and Twitter.

In an effort to shield herself from the negativity of people’s comments on Instagram and Twitter, Lovato has decided to exclusively broadcast her happenings to her fans on Snapchat for a more one-way star-to-fan experience.

Then she got all existential.

Asking deep questions about her own awesomeness. Just why do we hate her so much?

Shame on us.

For all of her Insta and Twitter hating, Demi hasn’t deleted her accounts yet. Maybe she’s just trying to take a break in case she wants to go back to the platforms.

People think the post that broke the camel’s back was this controversial Insta photo and comment Lovato posted, suggesting Ariana Grande was better than Mariah Carey.

“Mariah is a legend and is so talented but constantly disses people. It’s nasty the way she treats Jennifer [Lopez]. Ari did nothing wrong.”

Apparently Mariah’s fans didn’t take too kindly to Lovato’s sacrilege and started hounding her for her anti-Carey comments.

Lovato doesn’t seem too phased by the hate. Here she is on Snapchat, appearing to be doing just fine without all of us tweeting at her and leaving comments on her Instagram.

But seriously, Demi, where’s Poot?
