Tomi Lahren Shut Down On Twitter By Florida Shooting Survivor

On Wednesday, a former student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, shot 17 people dead and injured 14 more in the deadliest U.S. school shooting since Sandy Hook.

The accused 19-year-old, who was apprehended after apparently fleeing the scene, is believed to have links to a white supremacist group and reportedly commented on a YouTube video last year that he would be a professional “school shooter.” The FBI was made aware of the comment at the time. The teenager was also a concern to school staff, and had been banned from carrying a backpack while on the campus.

In the hours since, social media has, as usual, been a platform for gun reform debate. Especially since the shooting came just short of a year after President Trump rescinded an Obama-era rule aimed at blocking gun sales to certain mentally ill people

In an address to the nation during the aftermath, President Donald Trump said he would discuss policies to make schools safer during a meeting with U.S. governors and attorneys general later this month. He added that “it’s not enough to take actions that make us feel like we are making a difference — we must make that difference.”

Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren appears to be one of those opposing stricter gun laws, accusing the left of politicizing the shooting.

Carly also responded to a tweet by President Donald Trump, in which he offered his “prayers and condolences.”

She also thanked first responders.

Carly also went on to claim that her grandfather had also hidden in a closest during the first mass shooting in U.S. history. In 1949, Howard Barton Unruh killed 13 people in a rampage around his neighborhood. Unruh was found to be criminally insane and died in 2009.

Other students were also quick to respond.

While others responded to President Donald Trump.

Other social media users were also quick to criticize Lahren.

Many parents and students have also taken to social media to share heartbreaking text messages they exchanged during the shooting.

Thankfully in this case, the two were reunited.

What do you think of Lahren’s tweet and the response?

Tomi Lahren Photoshops A Picture Of Colin Kaepernick, And Twitter Isn't Having Any Of It

Tomi Lahren is at it again. On Thursday, the lightweight political commentator, Fox news contributor, and staunch Trump supporter tweeted a doctored photo of Colin Kaepernick. In the image, Kaepernick appears to be kneeling in a WWII landing craft, watching U.S. soldiers storm the beach at Normandy on D-Day.

Lahren captioned the photo “Citizen of the Year” and quipped, “Food for thought”:

Lahren may have been hoping to ruffle some feathers on Thanksgiving, but she missed the mark. By depicting Kaepernick kneeling before a military battle to criticize his protests, she overlooked the fact that protesting racial injustice in the U.S. is an act of patriotism. Kaepernick fans took a quick break from arguing with family over dry turkey and room temperature side dishes to have a little fun with Lahren’s ignorance.

Many Twitter users called out Lahren’s hypocrisy:

Some tried to explain how military families’ sacrifices gave us free speech:

Others defended Kaepernick’s right to protest… again:

But several people got to the heart of it all with their own “food for though” photos:

And someone illustrated what we were all thinking:

Sit ALL the way down, Ms. Lahren.

Tomi Lahren Releases 'Dear Liberal Snowflakes' Poster–And It Backfired In A Big Way

One of her rallying cries is bashing millennials and our current generation as a bunch of lazy losers looking for a handout. The trouble is, she forgets that nothing on the internet is ever deleted, and has been found guilty of the same “gimme gimme” mentality she accuses “lazy liberals” of embracing.

And although she is no stranger to controversy, her latest attempt at a meme is getting her roasted mercilessly.

People immediately pointed out the hypocrisy in Lahren’s message.

And in the “Liberal Snowflake” myth entirely.

I mean, she really should’ve taken two seconds to think before posting her meme. Because the photoshops were righteously brutal.

People started ranking conservative “Lib-owning” movements.

The message was clear: Better luck next time, Tomi.

Tomi Lahren Just Tried Comparing Comey's Testimony To Benghazi, And It Didn't Go So Well

While former FBI Director James Comey testified today, conservative firebrand Tomi Lahren weighed in on his testimony the night previous.

Tomi tweeted this many hours before Comey even sat down with the Senate.

Never mind the fact that the possibility of a President being brought into power by foreign meddling, and then that same President seeking to stop the public from discovering this, is a serious matter.

Nope! This was not and is not important to Lahren.

Also, never mind the fact that Hillary and Benghazi were investigated to infinity and beyond. That doesn’t matter to Lahren, either.

Twitter, however, did not let Lahren get away with her over-simplified comparison.

Even that’s being generous…

Facts have NO place here!

Alaska Airlines Just Embarrassed Tomi Lahren, And Twitter Is Absolutely Loving It

Controversial YouTube conservative personality Tomi Lahren took to Twitter to get her sass on at Alaska Airlines after a (presumably) bad experience flying with them…

…to which the airline responded by (presumably) accidentally misspelling her name.

And others continued to catch on.

We are eagerly awaiting Tomi Lahren’s response and have no doubt it will arrive in the form of an angry YouTube video.
