Woman Drops Phone On Neighbor's Balcony And Hatches Epic Plan To Get It Back

Try being conscious about your phone use for the day. An easy way to do that is to count the number of times you reach into your pocket to pull it out and look at it. It should be about 72 million times a day, give or take a few pulls.

Or you could just leave your phone at home when you go out somewhere. Count how many seconds it takes before anxiety sets in.

So you can only imagine the horror that Twitter user Liz Bertorelli felt when she somehow dropped her phone onto her downstairs neighbor’s balcony.

She watched, utterly helpless, as her phone moved on without her, receiving notifications that went unchecked. She dropped a note for her neighbor to find, but the wind got in the way.

Users chimed in, offering helpful solutions to her no-phone dilemma.

She then committed to some ideas to see if anything would help get her phone back.

She started getting desperate.

But at least she kept her humor intact throughout the trying ordeal.

Some people demanded to know just where the heck their neighbors were after all this time.

Sadly, she needed to leave for work without her phone.

It turns out the imminent threat of rain became a valid concern.

Someone suggested she contact her building super.

But she already tried that.

Her downstairs neighbors still didn’t pull through, either.

She tried gathering all her phone saving items in her home to see if anything could be done.

But all she could do was still watch her notifications roll in, completely helpless to check them.

But she did come up with a way to protect her precious phone from the merciless elements.

Liz still doesn’t have her phone back, but she’s holding out hope.

Girl's Phone Charger Goes Into Her Foot And Everyone Is Grossed Out

Growing up, I was always a messy kid. Many of us were, and it always seems to get worse as we approach our college years. For one Nebraskan native, her reluctance to clean her room came at a price.

This is what her room looked like.

And this is what happened.

Yea, it’s in there pretty deep.

She took pictures and posted a PSA on Twitter. Her post took off both for the picture of her room and for her new foot piercing.

Reactions were all over the place, but first and foremost, how did this even happen?

Ouch. Twitter didn’t let her off easy. Folks expressed their disgust at her injury…

And the current condition of her room.

Still, some felt sympathy for her. A prong on the bottom of your foot isn’t something that slides in all that smoothly after all.

But just as many people had no sympathy for her at all.

People made their jokes, of course.

And some folks used their excellent observational skills to help drive home just how dirty her room was.

But ultimately, she made out OK.

A photo of a clean room has yet to surface, but there were plenty of comments suggesting that she just clear a walkway through the room and pile things on the side instead.

We’re living in the future.

We Desperately Need This Magical Charger That Makes Your Phone Levitate

Every year, we witness another groundbreaking update in smartphones — and the ridiculous lengths that people will go to to obtain said smartphones.

While the phone technology itself upgrades year to year, putting the last generation phone to shame, the actual charger technology has made very few leaps. So far, no one’s done much to impress us… Until now.

We can thank startup AR Designs for OvRcharge, a phone charger that makes your phone float and rotate in space.

You know, if you’re sick of balancing your phone on a windowsill because it’s as far as the apple charger will reach from the outlet on the wall. So, this new invention gets points for convenience and style. Your phone LEVITATES.

The wonderfully trippy device looks like something straight from J.K. Rowling’s imagination.

If Hermione had an iPhone, it would certainly levitate.

Although she probably wouldn’t need the help of the wireless induction technology that allows the phone to charge while spinning mid-air.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to ditch your current grimy phone case to get the full OvRcharge experience. Users will need to invest in a special case with an electricity receiver and magnet to go with the charger.

Oh, and in case it wasn’t enough for your phone levitate, the device also works with tablets.

No word yet on when when we might be able to add our laptops to the mix. We can’t wait to ditch those annoying charger cords.

The magical charger is out of its crowdfunding and development stages, so it won’t be long before your phone will be floating its way to 100% battery.

After successful Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns raised over $ 60,000 this summer, mass production of the chargers began.

While they’re only available for order by early adopters, they’ll be on the market for all aspiring wizards soon enough.

People Are Losing Their Minds While Trying To Find The Cell Phone In This Photo

In order to momentarily distract ourselves from the tragedy and political strife that’s plaguing our world, we might as well turn to the Internet for a little useless entertainment. For those of us who love optical illusions (or Where’s Waldo), this is the jackpot. In the image below, there is a cell phone lying somewhere on a rug. And no, it’s not digitally edited in, it just has a patterned phone case that nicely matches the decor.

Jeya May Cruz, a sales representative at Dell, first posted this photo to Facebook, challenging people to find the phone.

As with any optical illusion, it takes forever to find and then you can’t remember how you didn’t see it immediately. But, in all fairness, this is a very inconspicuous phone case.

Found it? If not, behold:

Now you can’t stop seeing it, right?

The infuriating camouflaging phone went viral almost immediately.

In less than a week, the photo racked up 121,000 likes and over 15,000 shares on Facebook.

…We hope everyone enjoyed their few seconds of frustration that had nothing to do with death or guns. (h/t someecards)
