Woman Teams Up With Domino's Worker To Get Back At The Hacker Who Stole Her Pizza

Woman Teams Up With Domino's Worker To Get Back At The Hacker Who Stole Her Pizza

I’m a fiend for Halo Top Ice Cream, especially the chocolate peanut butter pint. My local supermarket’s computer algorithm knows this and will constantly give me coupons and receipts every time I buy a pint.

They know I’m going to come back for more and end up saving me some money every time I get some of that low-calorie deliciousness. I’m not an extreme couponer or anything like that, but getting those $ 1 or coveted $ 2 off coupons makes me feel like I have a little reward program, and I get a little bummed out every time I lose a coupon or accidentally throw it away.

And I get it, Halo Top might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and it’s been meme’d into infinity…

…but I still like it and the little rewards program I set up for buying it. JUST LET ME HAVE THAT, GUYS.

And as bummed out as I am when I lose a coupon, I’d be even more livid if I found out that someone managed to steal my ice cream coupons and use them for themselves. Because I’m the one who originally paid for the Halo Top, dagnammit, why the heck should they reap the benefits of my spending, right?!

Which is why I audibly gasped when Twitter user @gracearnprie discovered her Domino’s account had been hacked and someone did the unthinkable:

They used her points to get a free pizza. Her free pizza. The nerve. The gall.

Devastated, Grace contacted her local Domino’s to let them know of the scoundrel’s scheme and they were not having it. The employee promised to throw the pizza away and get in the crook’s face to let them know what a scumbag they were for hacking into someone’s account.

Not everyone believed Grace, initially.

But she had the proof.

The Domino’s confirmation email.

image

And the call to the shop.

image

Some people still doubted her and noticed a time “discrepancy” in her story.

And it gently had to be explained to them.

Some people were more concerned with the fact that a perfectly good pizza went to waste.

Grace’s response pretty sums up everyone else’s feelings on the matter who have ever had anything stolen from them.

image

And there were more than a few individuals who were concerned with the fact that Grace’s private details were available to the “hacker.”

Thankfully Grace kept most of her private details out of her account.

Her tweet blew up so much that Domino’s PR team contacted her. Here’s hoping she gets some extra points and/or swag for her woes.

People immediately began worrying that the employee who vowed to tell the thief off would be in trouble.

As for Grace, the entire experience left her feeling some kinda of way.

Let’s hope her points are restored and she picks a stronger password next time.

This 'Holiday' Pizza Is Covered In Melted Candy Canes And People Are Horrified

Hey, are you someone who would actually enjoy scarfing down melted candy canes burned into a pizza?

No, this isn’t a joke. Someone actually thought that making this monstrosity would be a good idea.

In case you’re wondering if anyone actually baked something like this, I assure you, this is real.

At first, people weren’t sure if the person who made this ungodly mess was serious or not.

She even had the audacity to compare this to pineapples on pizza.

People were convinced she was serious, at first.

But it wasn’t long before she was exposed as taking the images from another post.

And she admitted to it, because, who the heck in their right mind would make such an awful thing?

Twitter ultimately didn’t care who made the nasty pizza, they just wanted it to be destroyed. Immediately.

Keep this pizza and everything it stands for away from me, please.

Mom Accidentally Orders Disturbing Pizza On Domino's App, Resolves To Call From Now On

Oh horror of horrors! Last week, on July 7th, a family’s worst nightmare came to pass when a mother, using Domino’s app for the first time, unwittingly ordered a pizza monstrosity for the family to enjoy. The app, which allows you to customize every detail of a pizza, includes many toppings options, such as “sauce” and “cheese” that are best left untouched. It is my deepest regret to inform you that the mother did not know this.

The mother’s creation will haunt her through the rest of her life:

People on Twitter don’t seem to grasp the full horror of the situation:

Fortunately, DiGiorno’s (the unexpected shining night of pizza), swung in to save the day:

After having seen Domino’s terrifying creation, DiGiorno’s wanted to make things right:

Then they made the best joke of all time:

Meanwhile, people were in awe of the innocent mother who must have accidentally deselected many important ingredients on her pizza:

While DiGiorno’s has stepped up, Domino’s has done very little to set the world back on track. In fact, they might have made things a little worse: whenever they were mentioned in the chat, a Domino’s bot popped up to ask if we might want to order a customizable Domino’s pizza. No, Domino’s, we don’t.

Pizza Hut Debuts Mac 'N' Cheese Pizza And People's Mouths Are Already Watering

If there are two foods that even the pickiest eaters will absolutely love, no matter their age, it’s macaroni and cheese and pizza.

I knew kids in elementary school who would almost exclusively eat one or the other, and how can you blame them? They’re friggin’ delicious.

And although your neighborhood pizzeria has probably featured penne vodka and baked ziti slices, most mainstream pizza chains haven’t gotten too crazy with their ‘za offerings when it comes to combining slices with noodles. That is, until now.

That’s because Pizza Hut UK has debuted a Mac ‘N’ Cheese stuffed crust pizza and it looks decadent as hell. Seriously, this thing isn’t even offered in a non-stuffed crust version, otherwise its structural integrity would probably be compromised. Check out their press release for the masterpiece below:

The pie comes in two flavors: one plain macaroni and cheese pizza with a béchamel base, macaroni, cheese sauce, three cheese blend, and crispy onions. There’s also a BBQ one that’s almost the same but with a BBQ sauce base instead of béchamel and a BBQ drizzle. You know, just in case there weren’t enough calories packed into the thing.

Pizza Hut’s head of communications, Gareth Hopley, is calling the pizza a “match made in heaven.” Twitter seems to agree.

Even if some people didn’t seem like they’re that excited for it.

For now it seems like the pizza’s only available in the UK. Would you want this bad boy to come stateside?

We Can All Relate To This Pizza Guy's Refreshingly Honest 'Sick Note'

If you’re a mere mortal, you’ve probably woken up one morning knowing that going to work simply isn’t an option. Perhaps you had an extra drink (or seven) the night before and the throbbing headache and severe dehydration aren’t going anywhere. The hangover is here to stay for the next five hours.

So what do you do? Tough it out and somehow make it to work? Not ideal. Make up some pathetic excuse that your boss will see right through? Also not appealing.

So… Why not settle for honesty? Who knows, maybe someone will sympathize.

Business owner Blake Pendlebury chose this noble route when he needed to call in sick to work.

After an eventful afternoon at a horse race — with a successful bet, no less — Pendlebury consumed quite a few drinks, rendering him way too drunk to go to work. So he wrote a sick note… On Facebook.

Sorry Queensland, but you’ll have to settle for some other variety of pizza for one night.

Well, we appreciate the honesty…. And we empathize.

The racing event responsible for all this fun (and alcohol consumption) even got involved and congratulated him on his win.

Maybe we’ll take this approach from now on… No way it could go wrong. (h/t mashable)

Pizza Porn Is Getting Popular And We're Not That Surprised

The hardworking statisticians at Pornhub are back at it with new reports about our online habits, and we couldn’t be more grateful to them for their life-changing contributions to our understanding of human behavior.

Their newest findings? “Pizza porn” is spiking in porn searches everywhere, leaving us to wonder exactly what happens to the pizza delivery person during the “money shot.

“Pornhub has nearly 2000 videos with pizza in the title, and each month people search for pizza porn more than 500,000 times,” the insights team writes.

While the standard “pizza delivery guy” remains popular in porn, the search terms related to pizza are certainly broadening.

“Amateur pizza dare.” There are a lot of possibilities with that one.

It’s safe to say you’re more likely to consume pizza porn than your parents.

Pizza2
pornhub

Clearly, there’s an age correlation between pizza porn popularity and age — the cheesy goodness is most popular among viewers ages 18 to 24 and least popular among viewers ages 65 and up.

While pizza porn viewing does span across gender, men are more likely to search for it. Bet you never saw that coming, right?

So where does your state rank in pizza porn consumption?

Pizza3

Arizona and Utah really like their porn hot and oily (and cheesy). Mississippi, on the other hand, isn’t feeling too hungry.

As it turns out, pizza porn has become a global phenomenon.

Pizza4

Romania and South Korea lead the world pizza porn consumption. Apparently, that cheesy goodness isn’t in very high demand in Japan, though.

It all makes sense. There’s nothing sexier than pizza.

Perhaps some videos take it too far? To each their own, we suppose…

We’re thinking pizza for dinner tonight. You?
