Mom Throws Husband A Vasectomy Party And The Snacks Are Really Something

Washington state is home to one of the most supportive marriages on the Internet. Kimberly Hemperly and her husband Jason are going viral for sharing their wise decision to take family planning into their own hands. After two kids, they’re shutting off the sperm factory. Jason is getting a vasectomy. But it’s not sad!

They even threw a party to celebrate.

Hemperly shared pictures of their family fiesta, which included all sorts of vasectomy themes treats and visual aids to drive home the theme:

Naturally, people love this show of support. Hemperly toldBored Panda that the party was a total surprise, and Jason was delighted and touched.

“I really just wanted to show my support and appreciation to my husband for doing what he did, because not many men offer to go under the knife,” she said. “The procedure is much harder for the woman, and since I’ve had 2 C-sections with rough recoveries, he ‘took one for the team.’ It’s pretty cool of him to do something like this for me.”

Hemperly provided treats like bananas, Ding Dongs, “super seed” pumpkin seeds, and what looks like a rubber glove full of green popcorn:

She made a cake with a headstone dedicated to Jason’s sperm:

And I don’t know what these are, but they look absolutely disgusting:

She also made shirts for the kids that read, “Swim Team Survivor 2017,” and one for Jason that says, “Time To Retire The Swim Team.”

Getting a vasectomy is a great choice if you’re done procreating, and has a fairly quick recovery period. It’s actually a great option for birth control, but clearly one with some emotional ties. It’s nice that this couple got each other’s backs like that.

And their fronts.

Jason does look a little sad, but it also seems like he’s got his hands full.

Man Reports Wife For 'Drugs' In Her Purse, But What's Really Inside Is Even Weirder

Man Reports Wife For ‘Drugs’ In Her Purse, But What’s Really Inside Is Even Weirder

The Wyoming, Minnesota police department rose to viral fame yesterday after they posted this image of their plans to catch stoners on 4/20. The tweet attracted over 170,000 retweets and 350,000 likes despite causing some controversy.

But some people took the opportunity to take a look back at the force’s previous tweets, and discovered this gem.

Yes, a man reported his wife for having drugs in her purse, and it ended up being a broken cocktail umbrella. Apparently he’s never seen a cocktail umbrella before…

As you can probably understand, people had a lot of questions.

We have so many questions.

Here's What It's Really Like To Be A Bouncer

While you probably spent many years of your youth viewing them as the muscular barriers between you and a night of underage drinking, bouncers are the unsung heroes of Saturday nights.

Shockingly, dealing with crowds of intoxicated people hoping to get into a bar or club can isn’t always rewarding — but the gig usually results in good stories.

Bouncers opened up to Whisper to share some of their best confessions about the job.

This Local Dentist Is Buying Kids Halloween Candy From Them For A Really Great Cause

The last thing a dentist usually wants to hear when a kid plops down in their chair is that he just spent his last week after Halloween clearing out his entire duffel bag of candy.

And the first thought the childhood version of you has for that is probably, “WELL TOO BAD! I WORKED DAMN HARD FOR THIS CANDY AND I’LL DO WHATEVER I WANT WITH IT!” Which is fine, you’re entitled to that opinion.

And adult you, well, might very well have that same reaction, but at least there’s the knowledge that these sweets will ultimately jack your teeth up. This is especially true if you’ve had to take care of a cavity or two in your life.

So this dentist’s office decided to help kids protect their teeth while serving a good cause. And to do that, they want to buy their extra Halloween candy.

Tillery Family Dental is willing to give kids $ 1 per pound of candy ($ 5 maximum) for all their leftover treats. While that might not sound like the sweetest deal out there, it’s for a pretty noble reason.

All the extra Halloween candy from home is being sent to US troops stationed overseas so they can enjoy some all-hallows-goodness.

The dentistry is also giving trick-or-treaters willing to part with their precious sweets (for cash) some paper and writing utensils so they can write notes for the soldiers who’ll be snacking on their forked-over sweets.

The candy’s being shipped to Operation Gratitude and will be wrapped up as part of care packages for US soldiers abroad and first responders stationed home.

Kids are also getting a goody bag from the dentist of their own: a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, and other dental stuff.

Nowhere near as exciting as a stash of Reese’s, but at least they can rest well knowing they helped but a smile on a homesick person’s face. And that they probably have one less cavity to worry about. (h/t fox59)
