The Rock Sent The Funniest Message To This Sick Grandma In The Hospital

The Rock may be the cutest, sweetest, most enthusiastic celebrity on the planet. He actually seems to care about his fans. Plus, his appeal knows no age boundaries, as a message from the family of 76-year-old Judy Rosenberg attests.

In an Instagram post from The Rock on Sunday, he shares a very special email he got that he claims came out of nowhere. No one on The Rock’s staff has heard of this person, so the fact that he even saw it is something of a miracle. Can you imagine emailing The Rock, and having him actually read it?

It was sent from Judy’s family, and they asked for The Rock to give her a shout out, as she has recently entered hospice for stage 4 pancreatic cancer. But she brought one very special item with her: a sexy cut out of Dwayne Johnson.

The Rock reads off Judy’s email, which says she has five children and 17 grandchildren, and she’s been married to her husband for 57 years. She’d still like for The Rock to call her sexy, though.

Of course, because The Rock’s a gentlemen, he does, and sends along some air kiss and off-color jokes about “practicing” making babies. Don’t worry, Judy is a self-professed “potty mouth,” so she probably loved it.

“The universe works in amazing ways, and I am so glad I got this email,” he says, and wishes her “all the love and all the positive energy in the world.”

The whole video is captioned with an additional message to his biggest grandma fan, reading, “Stay strong Judy, you sexy tiger. We’re all sending you and your family love and light during this time and I’m an extremely grateful man this email reached my eyes. * this kind of stuff will always be the best part of fame. Thx U Universe.”

Hopefully, this message makes it to Judy’s eyes, so she can hear The Rock calling her name as she holds his cut out hand.

The Rock is what dreams are made of, for young and old!

The Rock Revealed His 'Moana' Character Had A Surprising Source Material

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, one of the few good things left in this horrible world, just revealed something adorable about Maui, the thicc demigod he played in last year’s genuinely great Disney flick Moana.

Apparently, Maui is based on Johnson’s ACTUAL grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia of Samoa, Johnson revealed on Twitter.

“Moana” takes place in Ancient Polynesia and follows Princess Moana as she tries to save her people with the help of Maui (and who better to play a South Pacific demigod than Johnson, who is probably the most famous Pacific Islander alive).

The Rock’s grandfather was also practically a real South Pacific demigod – he was a championship-winning wrestler in New Zealand before settling in the U.S. And like Maui and The Rock, he was covered in tribal tattoos.

“Maivia was also active outside the ring,” WWE writes on its profile of the High Chief on its website. “He helped train numerous future Superstars, such as Graham, Wild Samoan Afa and Rocky Johnson — who later married Maivia’s daughter, despite the High Chief’s objections — and took over the reigns of the NWA’s Hawaiian operations in 1980. He also played a vile henchman in the 1967 James Bond film You Only Live Twice, perhaps foreshadowing a silver screen legacy that would be carried on by The Rock 35 years later.”

Tragically, Maivia died at the age of 45 from cancer, but Rocky Johnson would later pass on the family job to his son Dwayne. The rest is history.

The Rock Surprised Tourists On Disney's Jungle Cruise And His Fans Fell In Love

The Rock Surprised Tourists On Disney’s Jungle Cruise And His Fans Fell In Love

If you think basing an entire movie off of a theme park attraction seems like a stupid idea, just ask Johnny Depp and the minds behind the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, because in my opinion, that’s exactly what that first movie was, and they seem to be doing pretty well.

The thing is, with huge blockbuster movies come professional PR moves to promote the movie. That’s when you gotta get creative.

How creative? Well, how about taking arguably the world’s largest box-office star and having him surprise a group of tourists on the ride that you’re basing your upcoming movie on?

Because that’s exactly what happened when Dwayne Johnson crashed the Jungle Cruise ride at Walt Disney World.

The star shared the news on Instagram with some hilarious commentary.

Like pointing out the lady behind him was totally snapping a pick of his bootaaaay.

Just take a look at that face and tell me she isn’t thinking, “Mmmhmmmm.” If you do, then you’re a liar.

Here’s Johnson’s entire awesome caption below:

(I think the lady to my right is snapping a pic of my bootaaaay)
Surprise! Once I committed to our Disney partners to make the movie based off the JUNGLE CRUISE ride, I wanted to dive head first into the research.
So I headed to Walt Disney World and surprised tourists by commandeering the JUNGLE CRUISE boat.
It was a GREAT day on the river. Learned a lot.. for example, it takes approximately 12.6 minutes for all the passengers to get over the shock of me jumping on the boat and thinking I’m a DJ look-a-like. One passenger even said, “Oh the real Rock is much smaller than this guy”. I threw his ass off the boat.
Jokes aside (and yes, with me as the Cruise Skipper there will be an abundance of puns) this is such an amazing, fantastical and cool world to build out. Best part about this surprise research day was knowing how FUN of an experience we’re gonna work hard to create for families around the world. That’s the part that gets my excited the most.
The movie. The ride. The experience.
It’s the cruise of a lifetime. And trust me, you’ll want me as your Skipper. Just don’t forget to bring the Skipper’s beer.
Next step… we find our visionary director.

There aren’t many other details available, except that the movie is starring The Rock and is being produced by Disney. They’re still looking for a director to bring it on home. Let’s just hope whoever they are, they remember to bring the Skipper his beer.

These 3-Piece Animal Rings Let You Rock Your Favorite Wildlife In Style

I’m not the biggest fan of jewelry. I find it kind of useless to deck yourself out in a bunch of little trinkets and stuff for seemingly no reason. Yeah, I guess it looks nice and all that, but the idea of having a bunch of superfluous stuff hanging off of me is annoying enough. I don’t even like wearing too many clothes, let alone hanging a bunch of metal or leather off my body that doesn’t need to be there.

However, I’ll concede that there are some people who can rock a good piece of jewelry and make it look amazing. But most of that is because the person rocking said jewelry is responsible for it being so awesome.

With these cool 3-piece animal rings, however, I don’t think you need to be cool at all. Hell, you could be Jon Lovitz from The Wedding Singer and they’d still look good.

Like this sleepy little sloth just chilling on your finger. “Ayo, don’t move them digits, B.”

These aren’t the official names of these products, in case you thought I was being entirely serious – because I wasn’t.

Doesn’t change the fact that they’re pretty awesome, though.

Demi Lovato And Joe Jonas Recreated Their ‘Gotta Find You’ Duet From Camp Rock

Disney fans that were in Future Now’s Washington, DC stop on Tuesday night were in for quite the treat when Joe Jonas walked onstage to join Demi Lovato and his brother Nick.

Fans started cheering within the first few strums as he took them eight years back by singing “Gotta Find You” from Disney’s hit TV Movie Camp Rock.

Demi followed up by performing the movie’s female protagonist Mitchie Torres’s “This Is Me” while Nick accompanied her on guitar.

Fans had a blast.  Demi and Joe even hugged it out before Joe said, “Now that we did all the sentimental bullshit, let’s have some fun,” and went right into DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean.”

Here’s a closer look at the trip back in time from another fan:

This was the movie that launched their careers 8 years ago, and they’ve shown fans that despite all their success, they haven’t forgotten their roots.
