Guy Accidentally Finds Out Wife Named Their Son After Her First Love

Letting go of the past is tough, especially when it involves an event or person who affected you on a deeply emotional level.

And when your relationship with that person comes to an end and you’re feeling rejected, it can hurt a lot.

There’s a reason why the most popular songs are all about heartbreak. It’s because we all know the feeling. Heck, even if you never went through a particularly painful breakup, you can still imagine what it would be like, because the longing for a significant other is a feeling that’s so deeply ingrained in pretty much everyone.

Now I know this might comes as a shock, but believe it or not, some people start new relationships with people even when they’re not over another person.

In fact, they’ll keep going in a new relationship even when they’re secretly wishing they can be back with their ex! The nerve, right? As common as this reality of life is,  there are some people who take their obsession with their ex way too far. Like this woman who seemingly thought she would be slick and name the son she had with her new man after her first love.

The worst part? The guy had no idea and found out in probably the worst way possible.

Reddit user BillNyes-InnerThigh dished out how the unfortunate discover occurred in Reddit’s Relationship Advice subreddit asking fellow internet peeps for some advice on how to proceed with this shocking discovery.

But there are some things that make this particular discovery somehow even worse. Like the fact that his wife’s ex’s name is a really unique one.

So it’s not like something you can delude yourself into thinking it’s a common name and a total coincidence.

Shockingly enough, it’s a common occurrence for people who are still obsessed with their ex to name their kid after them. Like this dude’s brother-in-law.

And there was this woman’s mother who gave her daughter the effeminate version of her ex’s name and then named her son this dude’s middle name.

OP promised to update the good people of Reddit once he confronts his wife about the name.

There were some people who began coming up with worst case scenarios.

While others tried to find a way to humanize his wife in this situation.

Not like the fact that they died would make it OK, but it does, in a morbid way, make it not as bad.

However, OP doesn’t think that this is the case.

Others came up with a not-so-traumatizing way for the kid to change his name.

Although when he gets older and learns the truth, it might mess him up.

Wife And Husband's Instagram Photos Go Viral And Spark Body Image Debate

Jasmine Owens is a 25-year-old student and mother of two from Honolulu who recently took to Instagram to share a vacation photo of her and her husband. A caption alongside the photo includes an inspirational note about learning to love her body as it is, and the message is going viral.

The post received over 70,000 likes and hundreds of comments, which were largely positive. But many weren’t, and Owens shared a screenshot of one such comment that told her to, “stop your delusion, these pics are gross and has already been shared as a meme.”

She replied to the comment by saying:

“Earlier this morning I got this very negative comment! Starting this journey publicly I knew that I would get some negative comments and I TRIED to prepare myself for the day that they started. But when I saw this comment no lie it hurt! It stabbed me hard, harder then I thought it was going to!”

“So I had to take a step back and think to myself .. why would someone be so hateful of another person! Why would they say such rude things. But then I figured it out! People like this hate on others because they are not happy with themselves! This person does not know me! They don’t know that I am VERY healthy and WILL live for my kids! They don’t know that I eat healthy, hike, go to the gym all the time and can most likely out lift them any day!”

“Just because I’m a big girl doesn’t mean I’m unhealthy and promoting being unhealthy! I’m simply promoting loving yourself the way you are! Never did I say unhealthy is the way to be. So for others that want to downplay me as a person and what I am trying to accomplish, go ahead leave your negative comment! They will only be used as fuel to my fire of promoting happiness!!”

Jazzy told the BBC that she’s grown accustom to comments like the above, but that she also received thousands of messages of support.

She went on to explain that she made an Instagram page to share her battle with depression and how she learned to love her body.

Her husband, Keenan, says that he’s always been supportive of his wife sharing her fitness progress on Instagram:

Man Reports Wife For 'Drugs' In Her Purse, But What's Really Inside Is Even Weirder

Man Reports Wife For ‘Drugs’ In Her Purse, But What’s Really Inside Is Even Weirder

The Wyoming, Minnesota police department rose to viral fame yesterday after they posted this image of their plans to catch stoners on 4/20. The tweet attracted over 170,000 retweets and 350,000 likes despite causing some controversy.

But some people took the opportunity to take a look back at the force’s previous tweets, and discovered this gem.

Yes, a man reported his wife for having drugs in her purse, and it ended up being a broken cocktail umbrella. Apparently he’s never seen a cocktail umbrella before…

As you can probably understand, people had a lot of questions.

We have so many questions.
